The Story

Growing up, hockey shops were my version of a candy store.

I'd walk in and take it all in — the smell of fresh tape, the rows of sticks, the gear hung perfectly on every wall. Every piece of equipment felt like it meant something. Like it was part of who you were as a player.

I played for Andover Hockey Association from 1994 to 2007. Thirteen years on the ice. And one thing I noticed early — you could customize almost everything about your game. Your stick. Your gloves. Your helmet. But your laces? They were always the same.

That stuck with me.

Who We're For

Custom Skate Laces was built for youth hockey teams first. The kids who are just starting to fall in love with the game the way I did. The parents who watch from the glass and want their kid to feel like they belong to something.

If older players want in — we're not going to say no.

But at our core, this is about the next generation of players. Giving them one more reason to love this game.
